Cincinnati Machines composite control, the CM-100, is the only control in the industry designed specifically for automated composite processing operations. This PC-based control features the powerful Windows operating system and an open architecture platform that can grow with your business. Able to handle 12 simultaneous axes with ease, the CM-100 also has the capability to handle large programs typical with composite part manufacturing.
Cincinnati Machine fully integrates its machines, control, and software by supplying an integrated family of software products to support its composite machines and enhance productivity. This package of software allows the user to simulate the part and test the designs manufacturability before downloading the NC program to the CM-100 control. For fiber placement, the exclusive ACRAPLACE provides the capability to check fiber path producibility, simulations, collision avoidance features, and multiple programming functions enabling the user to explore the what-ifs before the first fiber is placed. On the tape laying side, ACRAPATH computes a natural path for laying tape over a contoured surface and stores surface geometry, eliminating the need for the programmer to redefine the mold surface for each new ply of tape.
